Shrink Wrap in a Higher Place
May 19th dawned cool and clear as Fast Wrap shrink wrap Franchsiees Terry and Drew Himes from Mowequa Illinois joined Rick and Danielle Corbin of Cynthiana Kentucky to implement eleven days of industrial training. Instruction included forty hours of class room instruction and over a week of specialized hands on experience with industrial wrap, scaffold wrap, transportation wrap for trucking and rail, and included ocean transport asset protection, all under the watchfull eye of Fast Wraps Director of Training Jason Oppio.
The Fast Wrap crew originally shrink wrapped the North Tahoe Community Church for the 2009-2010 winter to protect the ongoing construction for Costalupes Construction and the NTCC congregation. Fast Wrap returned to insure the facility would be protected from the high altitude effects of UV and wind exposure during Lake Tahoe's summer season.
Using techniques for Industrial wrap , new areas at the Porte Cochere and Roof areas were covered with Fast Wrap ten mil white shrink film, operating with 100% fall protection the Himes and Corbins were able to complete the addittional areas safely, quickly and efficently.
